Outpatient Pain Management

Pain Management for Long Bone Fracture was selected as a MBQIP measure to measure patient satisfaction and timeliness of patient care.   Both affect the patient experience, which is part of the Triple Aim. Input from MT CAH staff indicates fluctuations in performance of this measure due to patient cognitive status and patient self medicating before arriving in the ED.
