Quality Improvement Activities

Montana PIN’s Quality Improvement Framework

The Montana Performance Improvement Network (PIN) is building a process improvement infrastructure for its members to move beyond data collection to improving facility performance, patient safety and satisfaction through multiple network wide QI opportunities.

QI Resources:

  • QI Showcase: The QI Showcase platform offers our members a forum to share their QI successes and provide others with resources that led to proven improvement outcomes.   These resources are shared online and at Regional DON/QIC Meetings.
  • M2O Program: MBQIP to Outcomes: Provides opportunities for members to participate in facilitated improvement projects that provide education and tools for utilizing lean methodologies and other established continuous quality improvement methods.
  • Quality Improvement Studies: Facilitate meeting State and Federal Quality Improvement Standards by offering statewide QIS on MBQIP measures & patient safety measures.
  • QI Coordinator Education:  MT Flex provides QIC education directly through site visits with customized QI materials.  Please contact Jamie Schutlz at jamie.schultz@mtha.org to request a site visit.
