The Montana Performance Improvement Network (PIN) is building a process improvement infrastructure for its members to move beyond data collection to improving facility performance, patient safety and satisfaction through multiple network wide QI opportunities.
The goals of this program are to:
Use the QI Showcase platform to offer our members a forum to share their PI successes and provide others with resources that led to proven performance improvement outcomes on this website and at PIN meetings
Provide opportunities to participate in facilitated improvement projects that provide education and tools for utilizing lean methodologies and other established continuous quality improvement methods: M2O Program: MBQIP to Outcomes
Facilitate meeting State and Federal Quality Improvement Standards by offering statewide Quality Improvement Studies on MBQIP measures & patient safety measures. Additionally, to provide QI Coordinator Education directly through site visits with customized QI materials and free memberships to IHI.org OPEN SCHOOL (contact Jamie for membership details)
Provide networking opportunities for the sharing of resources, tools, projects, issues, successes, workshops & learning from state and national educators at the MHA Health Summit, at PIN Regional Meetings, during Quarterly Quality Calls & at many more PIN events
Our national partners have launched a new Toolkit just for Critical Access Hospitals! If you need help operationalizing this toolkit or more information, feel free to reach out to TASC@ruralcenter.org More resources about how to utilize the templates included in the toolkit will be coming out shortly.
This toolkit provides a lot of templates that you can utilize for improving internal process and help track real time data.
